7th Grade Agriculture Course
Brodhead Middle School offers 7th Grade Agriculture to each 7th grader as a quarter-long elective. The objective of this course is to guide students through an introduction of food production, FFA and careers in agriculture. Topics covered in this 9-week course include: introduction to agriculture, FFA, dairy science, livestock science, soil science, plant science and careers. It is our hope that this class will encourage seventh graders to consider joining FFA and continuing their involvement in the agriculture department once they reach high school.

Brodhead FFA
The Brodhead FFA chapter has a rich legacy in the Brodhead community and currently supports around 120 members. Students are able to join FFA in 7th grade. FFA is free to all Brodhead students in 7-12th grade. 7th & 8th graders are welcome to join FFA anytime before March 1st by completing a sign-up sheet located on the FFA bulletin board and turning it into the FFA advisor.
