Albrecht Elementary School School Counseling
Ethan Anderson, Albrecht Elementary School Counselor
Hello!
My name is Ethan Anderson. I am the School Counselor for Albrecht Elementary School and have been a school counselor since 2016. Helping others and growing as a human being are important to me. Working with students is a great way to do that. Seeing students develop into caring problem solvers brings me joy. If students leave school, being able to care for themselves and others, while having the skills to tackle everyday problems helps them find success and happiness.
How I help students reach that point is by working closely with students, teachers, and families. All students receive lessons on Social Emotional Learning concepts such as self-awareness, empathy, problem solving, and goal setting. Another role of a school counselor is working to identify students who require additional support and matching their needs with things such as skill building groups, individual student meetings, and/or referring them to our School Based Mental Health Providers for more on-going, intensive support.
If you are interested in discussing Social Emotional Learning or having your child receive additional support, please email eanderson@brodhead.k12.wi.us or call at 897-2146.
