Sport's Field Advertising
For the past twenty football seasons, Brodhead School District and the Brodhead Park & Rec Department have combined efforts to offer athletic field advertising at the High School. This project has been a success and will be continued for this year. Past advertisers will be contacted by the School District with the details of this advertising opportunity. The District will work with the Park & Rec Department to use the existing signs in which these sponsors have already invested. A yearly advertising fee will be charged.
New advertisers wishing to participate may contact the School District Administrator for details on how they might join in this advertising project. In addition to the yearly advertising fee, new advertisers will need to provide a mesh sign conforming to size and design requirements. A local vendor can be contacted to produce a sign at a reasonable cost. Details are available from the School District office at (608) 897-2141. Potential advertisers should understand that WIAA rules prevent the District from advertising alcohol or tobacco products or establishments.
The District has adopted this advertising program to generate supplemental funding, and all funds raised are placed in a segregated account reserved for the maintenance of future athletic programs. These funds also supplement facility improvements and some of these donations were used to help pay for the new press box. Businesses who wish to advertise with the School District should indicate their interest and submit the advertising fee to the District Office as soon as possible, preferably the 1st week of August, prior to the start of the football season.
